Head 863 miles north of the Bluegrass State to Sugar Maple Farm, and you will find Kentucky in New York. Situated on over 500 idyllic acres in the heart of New York's thoroughbred breeding country, Sugar Maple Farm is a showplace in every sense of the word. Originally the J.C. Penney farm, no expense was spared in the development of this unique facility.

Sugar Maple Farm has developed into the leading stallion operation and thoroughbred nursery within the state of New York. Its lush green pastures and meticulously maintained grounds are both a product and a reflection of our dedication to quality in every sense.

We have been a major force in the thoroughbred industry over the past 25 years. Not only in the state of New York but worldwide. The Sugar Maple Farm program has been a model of how to raise and breed horses in the state of New York, taking advantage of all the benefits of the New York program while sacrificing nothing in terms of quality, care, or access to bloodlines.

Horses bred, raised, or owned by Sugar Maple Farm have had resounding success in both the sales ring and on the racetrack. The farm has raised yearlings which have sold in excess of $1 million. On the racetrack, homebred Sir Harry Lewis, raised at the farm, won the prestigious Group 1 Irish Derby. The list of horses include Champions, Leading Sires, and sale-toppers. That list includes Champion Sky Beauty, Champion Itsallgreektome, Leading Sire Polish Patriot, Grade 1 Winner Sir Harry Lewis, Maplejinsky, Sue Babe, etc.

From stallions to boarding to superior horsemanship; from stellar facilities to sales representation and aggressive marketing, Sugar Maple Farm is positioned as the premiere operation in New York for the discerning horseman looking to compete at the top.
