Take the New York Thruway (87) South from Albany (approx. 2 hours) to the Mid-Hudson Bridge exit at New Paltz (Route 299). Follow signs to Poughkeepsie and the Mid-Hudson Bridge. Cross the Hudson River going East on Route 55. Stay on 55 through Poughkeepsie, for approx. 20 miles, to Poughquag. At traffic light where 55 junctions with Route 216 (Shell Station on right) take a right onto 216. Approximately 1/2 mile up 216 on the right is Sugar Maple's main gate (White and green sign out front of large Victorian style white house, our office). Press intercom button on call box to ring the office to open the gates.

From the New York Thruway (I-87) get off at the Newburgh exit # 17. Bear right at the split in the ramp. Go thru the stop sign onto Rt. 300 (Union Ave) North. ¼ - ½ mile to I-84 East. Cross over the Newburgh - Beacon Bridge. Go East on 84 to exit 15 (Lime Kiln Rd). Bear right off ramp crossing over 84 and continue until the road comes to a "T" (Will be a traffic light). Turn right onto Rt. 52 and go one mile to light. Straight through light and cross under the Taconic Parkway (approx. 1 mile from light). Turn left onto Rt. 216 (approx. 1 mile from bridge). Continue across RR tracks and turn left at stop sign (gas station on left, this is still 216). Go past the Stormville Airport and Green Haven Prison (both on right) and continue on approx. one mile up on left is Sugar Maple. The first gate is for the breeding shed. Continue past the first gate about another mile to main gate on the left (Office is large Victorian style white house). Press intercom on call box to ring the office to open the gates.

Using either the Throgs Neck Bridge or the Whitestone Bridge get on the Hutchinson River Parkway North to Route 684 North. At Brewster, Rt. 684 turns into Route 22 North. Stay on Rt. 22 approximately 12 miles to town of Pawling. Take the Route 55 West exit off of 22 towards Poughkeepsie. Go 8 miles West on 55 to the first traffic light (Junction 216). Turn left at light onto 216. Go approx. 1/2 mile on 216. Sugar Maple's main gate is on the right (Large white Victorian style house and a sign out front). Press intercom button on call box to ring office to open the gates.

Use Route 84 East across the Beacon - Newburgh Bridge and follow South directions (above) to Sugar Maple Farm.
